With a life span of 50,000 hours, Avaids medium intensity Aviation obstruction light is designed to for low power consumption. In the unlikely eventuality of a malfunction or problem, the light system is provided with an in-built, audio-visual alarm to warn the maintenance team.
Our lights comply with ICAO, Annexure-14 type 'B'.
These medium intensity lights are made up of high grade aluminum alloy with a protective coat of paint and stainless steel hardware for longer durability. Superior quality and latest LEDs’ are procured from global market leaders for higher intensity of light.
The medium intensity LED light series use a high-flux LED light source with a proprietary high efficiency optic in a long life, low power consumption medium intensity red obstruction light. These are used for night time marking of obstructions between 45 meters and 150 meters high.
The lightweight and compact medium intensity aircraft LED Obstruction light can be set up in either flashing or fixed modes, with either automatic or external day/night control, making it an ideal choice for both new systems and as a replacement for an existing light operating with third party controllers.


  • Efficient secondary optics is induced to generate Lens effect for proper light beam in horizontal plane and arrest unnecessary light dispersion in vertical plane as required by the lights specifications.
  • High quality Aviation Red colour is directly emitted by the lamps thus eliminating the need for any additional colour filters, which otherwise gets faded due to UV radiation of sun.
  • Efficient circuit design reducing the chances of a total blackout.
  • Hardware is made from Corrosion resistant metals.
  • The light is protected from the attack of dust and moisture with an improved glass gasket.
  • Bird Spike is provided at the top to protect the luminaire from bird droppings.
  • High quality copper conductor with earthing, is provided to divert any lightening surge.
  • The flasher is housed in separate weather protected enclosure to avoid any damage.
  • Dusk to Dawn operation is enabled through Photo sensor and electronic timer.
